Ferrari’s first-ever SUV, the Purosangue, is the perfect blend of unmatched power and unparalleled luxury. With all that it packs, it can be safe to say that Purosangue is the machine that every gearhead has been anticipating. The Italian automaker has shown all its engineering prowess while making this car. The Purosangue is fast, slick, and well-crafted to its core. Ferrari has assured the enthusiast community that this car will come with a naturally aspirated V12 engine, which is some news while the world of automobiles is filled with turbo engines left, right, and center. While the mechanical figures are not known yet, it only adds to the excitement. Ferrari already released a 950-hp, V-12 hybrid powertrain in its LaFerrari in 2014. So, one thing is for sure this SUV will have a potent powertrain to conquer any terrain.
There will also be a PHEV version of Purosangue to match the emission norms and accommodate a smaller IC engine.
The Luxury-Oozing Cockpit
Ferrari is tight-lipped on the interiors of this much-awaited SUV, but it’ll have driver-focused interiors, with a room for 4 adults and a decent size boot to accommodate those bags for short trips. Exotic leather & carbon fiber trim is likely to be used inside this luxury SUV.
Just like the recent Ferraris, the Roma, and the F8 Tributo, which come with interesting in-car entertainment systems, the Purosangue will surely get a navigation system as standard too.
The manufacturer also offers a host of safety features in the SUV, like the ADAS, which consists of automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, a lane departure system with lane keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control.
Ferrari has not yet revealed details on the variants and the optional packages, though the buyers will have some liberty to customize their car according to their taste.
Ferrari Purosangue’s Price Tag And Competition
The exact pricing for the Ferrari SUV has not yet been revealed; however, the expected price tag for the Purosangue will be around $350,000. But, of course, this figure could vary with the specific trims and customizations.
Moreover, this SUV by Ferrari will lock horns with the mighty Lamborghini Urus, which already has a mighty stance in the SUV league with its massive power and mythical performance figures. Some other machines that will give tough competition to the Purosangue upon its arrival are the Bentley Bentayga, the Aston Martin DBX, and the Maserati Levante.
